

Chattanooga native McClendon Curtis spent six years in the UTC Football program. He played 49 career games, with 38 starts (30 at RG/7 at LT/1 at LG). In 2022Curtis was awarded the Jacobs Blocking Award, 1st team All-America, Senior Bowl and Team Captain awards. He was awarded the Doris Robinson Award finalist in 2021 & 2022. McClendon was a 3-time 1st team All-SoCon recipient in (2020-21, 2021, 2022). He served on the NCAA Football Oversight Committee in 2021-22, 2022-23, and Graduated with a degree in Sport Management in May 2021. He received a Master’s in School/Teacher Leadership from the University of Tennessee Chattanooga and served as a tutor in the Mocs Student-Athlete Enhancement Center. McClendon entered the NFL in 2023 as an undrafted free agent with the Las Vegas Raiders, After one season with the Raiders, he accepted an offer to join the Seattle Seahawks, where he’s currently on the offensive line as an Offensive Lineman.

Tavis Spotts is a graduate of the University of Kentucky School of Journalism. After working in radio and television media for a short time, she settled in print media, where she spent the bulk of her career. After several years, she switched gears to become a licensed real estate agent/affiliate broker, where she continues twenty plus years later. Elder G.M. Spotts has preached the word of God for nearly forty years and has been Pastor and teacher of the New Home Baptist Church in Chattanooga, Tennessee for twenty-eight years. While a student at the University of Kentucky, Elder Spotts was called into the preaching ministry. He was introduced to the Doctrines of Grace by his Pastor, Father and mentor, Elder D.J. Ward and remained under his tutelage as minster, Elder and finally Assistant to the Pastor at the Main Street Baptist Church in Lexington, Kentucky. Elder Spotts was called to his own work in 1997 and through the years, has not only grown in the word of God, but tirelessly dedicates his life to edifying God's people through clear and powerful teaching. Continuing the work of his Pastor, the late Elder D.J. Ward, Elder Spotts currently presides over the 'Sovereign Grace Bible Conference' and the “Women of Grace Sovereign Grace Conference”, where for one week, pastors and the people of God from around the country gather to fellowship, share and teach the word of God. Elder Spotts is the author of two books, “Crumbs from the Master’s Table, Practical Lessons for Daily Living”, Volumes 1 and 2, both of which provide his heartfelt insight on how to lead a balanced Christian life.
